Counterbore is a Z-axis-milling operation allowing a groove to be created over a certain thickness without, however, passing through the entire thickness of the PCB.
The depth of the counterbore must be specified when quoting or ordering (PDF file / excel / word / paint)
Safe-PCB uses different tool diameters:
0.4 mm
0.6 mm
0.8 mm
1.2 mm
1.6 mm
Milling diameter tolerance: +/- 0.1 mm
Countersink depth tolerance: +/- 0.15 mm
